LABAIDS Laboratory Mini Coolers or Transport Coolers offered by Divine International Techcraft, New Delhi, India, are essential for maintaining the cold chain of blood components or other temperature sensitive samples during transportation and storage in laboratories or hospitals.
These Mini coolers are ideal for protecting samples of enzymes, DNA, RNA, cell suspensions etc. by maintaining freezer temperatures during transportation or on the lab bench. These Mini coolers have a Temperature Tolerance of up to -20°C. They can maintain the temperature between 2 – 8°C for up to 6 hours.
These are made of polycarbonate and consists of a base unit that contains the coolant gel. These mini coolers have an MCT pad that has a holding capacity of 12 cryo tubes, or vials of 3 to 6ml capacity of Max size: 16mm dia x 81mm height.
Columns and rows of holes on the MCT pad are marked with numbers and alphabets for easy identification of the sample. A transparent lid is provided on top and fits perfectly on to the base unit. It helps in easy viewing of the samples.
Two bands are provided. The band that is wrapped around the base unit helps in maintaining the temperature of the cooler. The other band that wraps the lid and the base unit together, prevents any accidental opening of the mini cooler during transportation.
These Laboratory Mini Coolers can be further placed in Specimen Transportation bags to maintain the low temperature.
